Just got a call from a friend who recently purchased (a week ago) a complete Redline Weber 32/36 Smog Legal Carburetor for his Celica (20R). But just before he could install it, he gets pulled over for a DUI.

Car is stuck in impound for 30-Days.

Weber, still in it's original box - unopened - now available for $375 shipped/insured.

i might be interested.. but utah has very strick emmissions rules due to the fact that in salt lake everything gets stuck in the valley and we wait for rain to clear out the inversion. so our CO levels have to be under 450 will it pass my emissions?

 

Geez, I can't imagine anyone being more strict than California. I'll call the Redline Rep on Monday to double check if it will pass Utah's emissions, and let you know.

I just tried to call and got no answer, so I assume they're closed on the weekends.
