i've been watchin the bagged yota's.. only thing that scares me is when they don't mention the rear setup, and don't show pics either. learned the hard way with my 86..

ahh ok your not looking for another project, but a turn key ride..speaking of rear suspension would you be willing to help me with mine..i need to notch it not sure if i want a c or step, linkd or what but as soon as i get my front down i wanna do the back too
was your 86 messed up or what? i'm kinda new to the toyotas. i've had my 92 xtra cab for a lil over a year now, and really haven't done much to it. i have the time now to mess with some projects, and the 4runner was a cousins that i picked up for 400 bucks and the body is amazing. but that one's gonna take some time, so i'm gonna try to pick up that 83 to drive and what not while i work on the 4runner.
yep, looking for turnkey, problem is they don't exist in my price range! lol. i'd imagine i could give ya a hand with it.
i bought it before i ever looked at it. it was only $500, so really i'm not too worried about it. i made the money back when i sold the engine/trans/rearend. the problem was it was monoleafed, and when they notched it they didn't square anything up. the right side of the bed sat on the frame, and the left side had to have 1 1/2" of spacers to sit level.
