I figured i might as well start my own thread. Heres my truck, a 1992 toyota pickup 2wd extra cab. Was originally my grandpas, who gave it to my dad who gave it to me. Slowly a work in progress. Got lots of plans for it, including stereo system, rims, and some body work/paint...eventually. Anyways onto the pics.

    3" blocks in the rear.

Oh the reason theres that darker red is because the clear never peeled in that spot yet

    Cranked torsions in the front

Was bored one day so decided to spray my grill black. I think it looks better like that.

Also rust in the usual spots. Will take and post more pics later. Including those of the engine and inside. Stay tuned.

Thanks for the comments guys, makes me want to hurry and finish this.
91, the reason i painted it black was because thats all i had. Maybe when i get tired of the black i can try some silver.

Going to start a poll about what kind of rims to run. Which do you guys think would look better.

    1. Mustang Rims(no center caps)

    OR

    2. Mazda Rims
    http://www.grohol.com/mazda/mazda6_hatchback5.jpg

Was thinking of running the Mazdas cause not to many people running those in Hawaii and i know mustangs are popular. Mustangs dont have center caps. What do you guys think? Will try and photoshop some pics of them next to my truck tomorrow and try get some interior shots.

    So which one?

Could someone try photoshop both rims on my truck and post it up. Please and thank you

try 2001 Honda Odyssey Alloy 5-spoke wheels. 16" i think? they look great for fat fives but the offset can be fixed with some spacers. give that a try?

I was looking at those Mazda rims, too. I'm pretty sure you'll have to have the center machined out for the hub.

The Mazdas don't look all that bad. Kind of look like my Xrunners I threw on. The center bore has to come out to 67.1 I called around a bunch of machine shops and majority of them want $200 - $250 plus you gotta dismount the tires etc. I was able to take care of my tires and boring through family (sorry cannot hook it up) so didn't have to pay it... but I was about to take a dremmel to them. Keep all that in mind. Nice truck by the way. I going to look out for you on the roads now!

Yeah looks like i gotta bore it out. If worse comes to worse ill use my router and try it out. Seen youtube vids of it being done, so its not impossible.
Oh and if you see my driving like a dick, sorry, nothing personal, ive been running late a lot now-a-days

If I hadn't found the wheels I have on my truck now, I was going to go with a set of 2007 civic si wheels. I think those would look really good!
