Negative. It was just the opening for the fuel cap. No door

Weird you have an indent for a finger to lift the door.

I always thought it was weird too. Doesnt have anywhere for the hinge to mount unless it would have used the same bolts that hold the filler neck

When i originally lowered it i used 3" drop blocks, 1" bolt on block from BeefedTaco and pulled the middle leaf. Front i just cut about 3 turns off the coil springs

Went out for a short photo session with my buddies yesterday. Im enjoying this truck so much more now, idk if its because its bagged or because it had been like 9-10 months since i had driven it

So nice lookin man! Those months paid off.

I definitely dig the datsun too, love those 70s 'extra' cabs.

Riiight? Gosh I would unsavory things for a first gen hilux extended cab haha.

But i do really like the pic of the two next to eachother all raw, primered, dropped, and popping with the dual round headlights. Truly awesome, and puts any car/truck that was 'bought not built' to shame.

Nice pictures! There is a 4th gen pickup in the background too ;)

I actually had a 620 before I got my Yota. Both are great! But Datsun’s definitely have more of a following and I felt like getting parts was a little easier.

IMO though, the design on the “Rocket Hilux” (ロケハイ) has crisp lines and overall sharper styling

Small update, dropped the truck off at an upholstery shop earlier today. Getting a vinyl bed cover made. Hoping they can have it done before the end of the day, owner of the shop said he was expecting to receive the material early today so we will see how it goes
