    From what I can gather it's out of a 740, gas engine.

    Like Pearce said, probably a 740 Volvo turbo from the 1990s. I had a 740 wagon non-turbo at one point -- heavy off the line but had surprisingly good pickup from like 40-100mph. $500 is like scrap prices for me, I wonder what's wrong with it.

    In the listing he said it was 92 motor. 500 in a fortune for eastern Washington.

    Yeah I've seen early second gens with a decent restore done for a little over 5.

    There has been a recent intrest in the last couple years because of the widebody builds. People trying to capitalize.

    Throwing this in here because it would be interesting if someone here picked that up. You would be converting to coil on plug for a standalone setup and something like muitiport injection.
