Hey all I’ve been on here a few times asking questions every now and again

I have a 1976 Toyota Hilux longbed with a30 auto in it “soon to change” pics coming soon

Would anyone happen to have a good L43 they’re looking to get rid of I want to switch out my auto to manual while I have her all apart and I’m just wanting a good old fashioned 4 speed

I think I might’ve found one 375 shipped but I also see a junkyard has one near me for 200 so I’ll have to call them on Monday

Also with the auto to manual swap with these two trans do I just need transmission obviously
slave and master cylinder with lines clutch pedal
    Manual transmission mount
    New clutch

I may be late on this thread, but don't forget you need the flywheel/bolts too. Your auto transmission has a flex plate, not a true flywheel.

Hey all I bought a trans a few weeks back and just got it today ! Bad news is I’m going to have to file a claim at FedEx for losing the shift handle and another piece that hopefully one of you know what it’s for ... it looks like fedex reopens the box and who knows what happened D876E914-0ECC-4217-8EFC-EAC2C21110D9.jpeg

What you circled is the clutch fork.

Sucks! I think over forks may be compatible.
    How much did you pay?

It was 300 but used a eBay coupon for 15% off so it was 255 for what was supposed to be a shifter assembly transmission bellhousing and the floor cover piece but hopefully fedex will take responsibility for losing stuff .
And what years of clutch forks will work ?

Update got a check from fedex so basically free transmission! And what do y’all think of this paint color ? It’s spray paint but it’s “antique white “ basically cream I’d guess
