May 13th I was rear ended while sitting at a stop light by a car going about 30mph and shoved into the car in front of me. I'm looking for links to dealerships that are selling a 93 toyota hilux. The insurance company keeps denying my link I sent them. Along with "not receiving" any other information I sent them. I have a beloved 93 toyota hilux which I had repainted, installed a sound system, did the bed liner, and exterior details...... the insurance company is considering it a total loss and trying to give me $1,755.40 (less than what I paid for, not to mention all the work put into it), but from what I can tell, fair market value is somewhere between $3,800 up to $5,000 Thanks.
Are you dealing with the insurance company of the driver that hit you? If so, call your insurance company for advice. I recently was hit and my insurance valued my truck just over 5k (fresh paint, etc). same year/truck as you.
Thanks for the reply Clay. Yes I am dealing with the insurance company of the driver that hit me. I called my insurance and they said that unless I can find a similar model/condition/vehicle that I'm kind of out of options.
Bummer. See if they'll accept this link from BringATrailer - 1993 Toyota 2wd pickup sold for $10.5k in April 2018 https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1993-toyota-pickup-4/ Heck, what about just a current CL ad? I always see 3rd gen pickups in the $3-5k range for a 2wd. https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/toyota-tacoma-pickuporiginal/6640875295.html https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/1993-toyota-pickup-5-spd/6631193549.html
If you're looking to buy a replacement, this is one of the best looking ones I've seen under $3k in a long time: https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/1990-toyota-truck-4cyl/6642556143.html
I'm in Oregon. They haven't discredited location as a factor yet with my submissions, so I'm going to keep throwing stuff at them until something takes.
Autotrader has a search function for just dealers and they have several high priced ones https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for...&sortBy=relevance&numRecords=25&firstRecord=0
Here are a few of the same model: https://auffenbergcapekia.financing...D+Trucks-df09fa640a0e0adf633dd09711db1040.htm https://www.lewisclarkautosales.com/inventory/toyota/regular cab/195280/ https://www.valleycoachinc.com/1994_Toyota_Pickup_Van Nuys_CA_16613990.veh https://www.larrysautosalesinc.com/1994_Toyota_Pickup_Fresno_CA_18826478.veh https://www.carcosales.com/1994_Toyota_Pickup_Chula Vista_CA_14035544.veh
Thanks Clay. So far they have disputed anything that is 1994, because mine is 1993....... It's really frustrating. I'm going to keep combing the internet.
Maybe you should consider calling around for an attorney. most will give you super basic advice just by talking with them.
