    Have to do the dreaded Cali Smog test....what a bunch of BS....now that I see some get a car threw smog w none of the smog stuff functioning. It this does not work ? Will try to get by w a weber,??? .lol

    On my, so many !little parts !!!!! Sad this truck was driven for years without the air cleaner on !!!! Go back n see the engine before I cleaned it....This was the dirtiest engine I ever worked on and now this carb ?!? There is lots of silt n dirt in the whole carb ... IMG_20180403_192320.jpg

    It has been soaking for awhile now. Might have a layer of two off by now....lol in the meantime, these just came IMG_20180404_002328.jpg

    Well, she starts runs till warm.....then dies ?!? Have to give it half throttle to keep running. Take my foot off accelerator, and dies ?
    how do you check if idle solenoid is working ? Took it out, put power to it, it clicks but do not see anything. Any help here would be great

    I see you just went through the carb, I'm wondering if the adjustments have been put back to the baseline settings? My truck would do the same before. I think people start adjusting the carbs as they get older to keep them running then when the inevitable carb rebuild happens they need to be turned back.

    Just a theory....Good Luck

    My truck does funky stuff like that with the weather change in my area. Forever adjusting my carb.

    Plastic, a bit light....Will see how they hold up....look Great tho...

    put it all back to spec's in book, ran great till warmed up..... Now I have moved them all again and again.....wish I was not in Cali !!!!! Would put the Webber on and be happy

    Well turns out part of the problem was my distributor.... Had the white turn knob under a clear cap. Was all the way unscrewed ?!? I can idle at about 1200 rpm now....but not power ? Next is replacing all vacuum lines I guess

    Hello everyone, had to park this. Before I blew it up.... Hate this carb ! It has been sitting g all summer, I been out on my motorcycles.... But tomorrow morning the war starts again...... Have a friend coming to help...he has had any of these

    ahh the reasons I gave up on the 20R and am doing the 22RE swap.
