    Are the power steering pumps off a 1989 Toyota 3.0 V6 interchangeable with a 1987 Toyota 22RE

    If you go on any auto parts website and look for a part, take note of the part#/parts#'s.

    Then look up the part as if you were purchasing it for the donor vehicle....match?

    Already did it for you and part#'s didn't match.

    That's my process. There are probably better ones.

    I know sites like summit racing, with more specialty or custom parts, will give u a cross reference type list for certain parts.

    I think that is pretty cool, but unfortunately they aren't in the Toyota replacement parts business, lol.

    There used to be a interchange manual by Hollander (?) that gave all that info. Not sure if they still publish, but many salvage yards may have old copies around.

    Why not just get the correct pump for your year truck & engine??
