Yeah. I considered GM rotors also.

Cleaned up the front inner wheel wells and spayed them with Rhino liner.

Installed new 4x4 fenders after coating the bacside with Rhino liner also.

Happy with the fitment of these repro fenders.

Hey man, I absolutely love the truck. Looking for a roof spoiler just like this one. Any chance you know what model Volvo wagon it is from? I'm trying to find it but I am not succeeding.

FYI, all your pics aren't available. Says you need to update your account to allow 3rd party sharing

Great thread. I really wanted to go through the whole thing but with Photobucket clipping the image links I wouldn't have nearly as much visual information to go with it. Thanks for taking the time to post all of this great information!

You can go through my album on photobucket. It's also under "yotarip" and it's public. You'll just have to thumb through hundreds of pics. It's related to all my toyota builds so it's still interesting.

I've started working on a plan to widen the hips on the mini.

The back edge needs work. I've decided to splice together a driver and passenger fender together. This will make the rear flow with the body lines in the bed in both the front and the rear. Luckily, new fender are not VERY expensive.

That is close to what the honeyD wide body kit does to the Tundra. I like you thought process on this though. Lot of sheet work, but probably will look really good once completed.

Looking forward to how it turns out. I've thought about doing that too but I don't think I'd have the drive to see it through lol.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I just looked at that kit and I like the bolt on look. I'm gonna try that with my setup. I'll also add some black fender welting with 3/16" piping to give a finished look to the edges. If I don't like the look I will just weld the holes up and weld/blend the flares into the bed.

Sounds good. Take pics either way!

I thought about getting the honeyD kit for my Tundra, but i dnt have the $$ atm and rather get more done to my mini / lower my Tundra before I get a body kit.

What brand of fenders did you purchase? What are "good" brands and ones to stay away from?

Just ebay fenders. The fit was good.

Cleaned up my interior and installed "new" seats.

I love it! Cutting up some fronts worked wonders for me, too. Plus, it gives it that factory look since it's still a factory styled part

Yeah. Your thread motivated me to give it a shot. I'm still working on the fit. The rear tires barely fit and the ford 8.8 rear will def push the wheels out further.

I dunno, I like the way it looks with the front fenders as shown without splicing. The rear edge does need a little styling to fit/flow better but this way gives it the Rocket Bunny fenders look.
