looking for a shifter

    So I bought the 5 speed out of a 92 and had a 22re in front of it. I'm looking for a shifter as it didn't come with one. I would prefer a short one if possible. What will work?

    Brave Little Toaster (Diana) and Salsa Verde (Traction Control)
    I think you can put the Celicas shifter in, it's a shorter throw. Should work. Any w56/7/8 from whatever car had them should give you plenty of options.

    There are a few different 5 speed trans ,so identify what you have!

    W55, it looks like the shifter from the 4 speed in my 86 now will work

    I have the same trans & use the short throw shiftier from LC.:cool:

    No ,rear gearing is 3:73 I believe & 5 speed manual trans, have more than enough top end.
    Cruse most of the time between 75 & 80, have had up to 120, LC tells me the engine will pull 140!
