    Hey guys im putting a 77 front end on my 86 cause i love the dual round head lights. the only thing is i need some ideas ,got some of my own already but just thought i'd see whats already out there. So any pics of the front of this series lux would be great!! :waytogo:

    Just get a 77 the body lines wont line up. Not even close.

    i think if you didnt use the whole grille, but just spliced the middle parts into the outer frame of your stock one and made it look clean that it would look awesome. but making the whole thing go on there probably is more work than its worth. you know how to weld plastics or do fiberglass?

    i know how to do both ;) but i have the rad support so was thinking of using that and molding the guards to fit the grill, or make a whole new grill out of metal and billet and shape that to the guards haha

    i drilled some holes for the lights and used zip ties to hold the grill on.


    this is a 79-83 body

    but keep in mind its my wheeler, and zip ties are a improvement:verdict_in:

    i tried to straighten it out a bit. I love the idea, and a chopped 4dr is gunna be amazing! i'm impatiently awaiting pics of the chop! (i took a little off the top in this pic :D )

    that should look cool when its all smoothed to fit nicely. i dunno about the bumper. when i had that swap planned i was gonna make a notch in the bumper to tuck that middle section in sorta like the 4wd late model bumper grille combo. so there isnt a gap under the ends.
