    Hmm... Reference pics?

Personally, I like our trucks without a roll pan. You have a 2nd gen right?

Like this. I'd add a license plate recess.

And SD, if you think it cleans up the lines, throw one on. I never had much issue with the stock setup. The older gens like mine were already flush. I think a 90-95 4runner bumper would be way cooler than a pan. Suck in the overhang a bit though. They came in painted versions so its easy to weld and smooth it out. You could also run a brace bar inside the bottom lip to protect any rear bottom outs on driveways and bad road junctions.

i have the third gen, (92).... ive thought about it back and forth on it... its why im seeking opinions. im undecided. the main question behind it was my buddy's 93 pictured below \/ \/ \/

see this truck is why im thinking about it. the lines just look so damn clean.

i know it does, and its honestly the cleanest factory roll pan out of any truck on the market at that time... but i still feel it could possibly be cleaned up... maybe look neater?

see this is another option im considering...... the rear 4runner bumper has been done and i really like it too... but i also like the simplicity of a pan... the 4runner bumper though would balance out the front chrome bumper sooo.....

damn!! why is this so difficult?!?

Haha. I am gonna use a runner back bumper on my next hilux. Bring the rear body down more even with the cab.

And I'm starting to think the same thing. My painter buddy wants to me pimp his bone stock 92 shortie. It'll prob get lots of your common parts swaps, so ill be reviewing and replying to lots of those.

So since we are paint and body guys, we may end up doing a runner bumper if I can convince him its cool

I always thought the rear of the 90's Pickups were pretty clean from the factory with the bump removed, roll pan and tailgate handle relocation are each just taking up another level. Gotta like a clean booty!
