Hey my names Scott I'm 22 and am currently building my 93' standard cab. Not new to the mini truck scene ,I've owned a few bagged s10 and Mazda but never actually built one just usually traded for them. After goin to sittin pretti a few years back decided I wanted to build one for myself, about 6 months back I bought my 93 for 100 bucks and have slowly been tinkering with it and gettin what I need to static drop it. After blowing up the little 7.5" rear end I found almost no one around my area had a 7.5" third member, after swapping out the whole housing to be able to use the more common 8" third members I'm finally able to focus on the Sus again!
Welcome to the forum building beats bought any day that's how you make it is how you want it and you can say you did it.
I try an start a build thread soon I tried uploading some pics but it was taking too long and I have to take off to work soon...gotta love night shift haha
Yea I'm working on the low part ha I have a 4" block for the rear but I need to be able to haul my dirt bike too and I'm not really looking to c notch it right now so I got a 2" block on the way
when I got it, it had a 3" body lift, torsions cranked all the way up and a add a leaf in the rear on 30x9.50 tires,so far I've just ripped all that stuff out haha, must be the cool thing in Cali because that's where it originally came from
I like it. Reminds me of my old 92. I didn't do much to it but it was my first Toyota. Welcome to the site. Lots of good info and cool builds around here.
I was expecting someone to say something along those lines lol hope to get some sort of image hosting site so I can upload pictures faster and start a build thread
Thanks! Funds are tight right now because I just finished building my lifted 90' toyota extra cab but I'm trying to pull some together
I think they were trying to do a baja look but I wasn't really having all of that unnecessary lift equipment lol
