Does anybody know? My 83 is missing its rear view and girlfriend doesnt like driving it without. Im just wondering what years I should be checking for at the local yards.

 

Yours isn't attached to the ceiling? Weird, I thought all 3rd gens were up there. Maybe yours got changed in the past. I have a couple 2nd gen mirror/dome lights if you wanna attach one to the ceiling.

 

I have lots of glass mount mirrors for dodge trucks too. I think that kind of base is universal.

 

no, mine mounts to the metal. I was just wondering how long they stayed that way so I might have better luck finding one that will work.

 

Can't say I can remember ever seeing an old 80s/90s toyota with the mirror on the glass.

 

The mirror in my 88 is mounted to the roof, not the glass.

 

havent seen any that were glass mounted.
