Just wanted to stop in and introduce my self. I am completely new to the Toyota mini world. I ran across my particular 93 when my older brother ( who runs a small mechanic shop ) called and said he has a customer with a decent little truck for sale. First questions were. What kind, what year and how much? He stated that it was a little 92-93 Toyota pickup and the guy wanted $800. As far as the running condition, he said it was fine so I took his word for it and bought it sight unseen. Before I made the trip down to the shop to pick it up. I had my brother do a emissions test. It passed with flying colors. Next, I went down, hopped in and drove it 45 mins home with under a quarter tank of gas . After I got it home I started looking it over a little bit. Just needs the normal maintenance of a 20 year old truck with a 22-RE.
Now, I am no stranger to building cars at all. My current BIG project is a 1961 Impala Bubbletop that currently resides on a Rotisserie down in my shop ( I have a build thread on it at a couple of different forums ) As far as the pickup goes I bought primarily for a economical means of transportation but as we all know that is changing fast. Especially with all the Mods, Swaps and upgrades available, which I have already started on. With all that being said, I look forward to sharing my Simple daily project with all you and hopefully can gain some useful knowledge about the truck.

I didn't think I would be joining a Yota Forum and starting a build thread, until recently ( I bought to be a stock daily ) Boy, how that's changed. That's it for the introduction. I guess it's time to start a build thread.
