Here's a little bit better view of the hood while I was trying out the roof rack. Decided i didn't like it.

A little striping, because that's what I do.

The big piece in the center is a magnet that I hand painted and gilded with copper leaf.

And a few more pictures of the truck at Scrapin the Rockies and the pre party. (Needs to be a bit lower....)

The wheels were cheap man. I just dug around on craigslist looking for jeep wheels. Eventually found the right width and backspace. I think I paid 160 for them. Tires were the same deal, used on craigslist for cheap.

I'm keeping the rack, I got way too good of a deal on it to get rid of it. I wont be doing anymore wood grain on this truck.

The hood is vinyl. Like I said, shelf liner, 7 bucks at home depot. The box in the back is actual cedar, I made it myself. And the steering wheel is actual wood.

A little bit of both. Front line up pretty well, the inside front bolt you'll have to pit a nut on the back side. The rear have to be drilled out and a nut put on under the truck.

Picked up a topper for this winter to make it a little easier to work out of and made up some magnets for the door. I figured if Sign.a.Rama was paying for my fuel, I might as well support the company. (Makes it a little easier meeting someone on sight too, they usually don't suspect my truck)

With the added weight of the topper and the occasional heavy load I went out and bought some air shocks for the rear. World of difference in the ride.

Just ordered a bunch of lighting stuff so I'll be posting when it's all installed.

damn i wish you were closer to pin my bike after i re-do the tins this winter. maybe i can ship them to you if you cut me a good enough deal... ???

i did a little bit on the front and rear fenders before i decided that i must have gotten lucky for it to have came out as good as it did being as it was the first time i had ever done it. so i quit while i was ahead before doing any more.

also did my helmet. this was the first time i had ever done anything with pin striping paint. i must say that i have a totally new respect for people that can pin.

sorry, not trying to jack your thread.

No worries man. It actually looks really good, most people can't do lettering their first attempt. And as far as the pinstriping, simple is sometimes what looks good.

If you can get a decent shipping rate I would be more than happy to stripe a few things for you. We can work out a good deal if I'm striping over state lines. If you're really digging the striping I can do a panel and ship it out to you for your garage or living room.

Nice bike, kinda want to build something like that for myself.

Finally got around to installing all the lighting gear.
Start with H4 E-code headlight housings with city lights. Had to mod the bucket a bit to accept the city light socket.

L.e.d. bulbs in the corner lights and amber l.e.d.s for city lights. Makes the truck stand out a bit.

Had to go with some cool white l.e.d.s for license plate lamps.

    55w Hi/Low 8000k H.I.D's all installed.
