trust me chelu, did all the timing BS like 20 times. timing is on. my other co worker said sometimes the distributor gear sometimes can get loose causing it to line up wrong. even though it looks correct. idk how that can be seeing as we took the D cap off n saw the rotor line up to #1 fire position. also, i know that if the damper on the crank pulley is bad, it will have false timing mark reading.

im thinking it might be IAC? cuz on cold start it would idle fine, but when warm n after driving a little, it would run like sheezeee after.

i honestly dont think its a timing issue but then again, idk or i cant get it to be timed right from the start. tried tooth foreward and backward, no good.

thats the weird thing, even though timing marks showing about 15 deg BTDC, on accel/decel it runs super cherry. only sitting at idle n after being warmed up it runs like toki.

Roger that chelu. If you have a buddy with a 22re you can try their sensors just so you know which one is no good.

cleaned out the IAC and the hoses, it was cruddy as toki gwaka. idk how good the actual "valve" inside there was. but in any case, my buddy said in all his years of experience, he never had to replace that valve. ever. ever. so im leaning towards injectors. he says the V6 3.0L injectors act the same as my truck right now. n once he replaced the injectors it would run cherry. so...... any recommendations for quality brand/value injector set??? im leaning toward LCE again, cuz they have full kit (all 4 with orings) for about 200, n google search is too confusing. lol

Chelu my nyao was working at Racers Edge on Guam and he was telling me that they use an injector tester so I know they are out there somewhere.Maybe you can find one at a shop or something. You can pop them off and take them to be tested first before you buy the new ones.

ya that sounds like a good idea. might as well nai, cuz most of the injectors are "refurbished" and "tested" and "flow-matched" ....so if i just have all that stuff done to my stock ones, its pretty much gonna be refurbished... after they refurbish it nai lol -did that make sense?

also i think ima pop on a new fuel filter. might as well. i was planning on changing it with the injectors. maybe/hopefully it will do the trick.

yo J-Gar!!! chelu, if u have spare rims, can bring them....? idk if u wnt mines. i tried putting new smaller sidewall tires n its still rubs on the fenders when going over bumps n turning n flexing. i think its the back spacing/off set is too big for lowered trucks. so if u still want them i can give/trade u.... if u like. (they are 16x8. i know they are for sure 16in rims but idk backspacing/offset. they look like 8in wide.)

koo koo chelu. if u can find some semi-cherry rims is better. but if the stock steelies is all u got then i guess that will work. make sure they got some tires atleast sa im gonna need a "rolling chassis" . the tires on my rims are worn but decent enuf to drive on. was planning on getting tires but seeing as how i dont like the fitment i will not be spending the money on a new set of tires.

wassup guys, just a little update for those who care to care. just picked up some 2013 hyundai sonata steelies!!! they are perfect fit hub bore (67.1) and bolt pattern matchs all up!!!! only minor thing is when wheel weights are installed, they will rub/scrape a little bit on the upper ball joint case. minor fix though, prob shave it down (ball joint case) just a **** hair or can put small wheel spacers. but if anyone else wants to find some.... check out some hyundai wheels!

    thanks!

ya, ill prob just shave it off a little bit cuz when i put truck down off the lift, the tire will go back up into the wheel well n i dont think its gonna rub when the truck is sitting on the ground.

ya i know charlie, but i never seen his truck though. the other rims i still have.

n then im gonna have another spare set of 2012 xB steelies.

...on a side note, anyone try to swap their bulbs in the dash n cluster with LED ones? i've been looking at a few on ebay n wondering if its worth swapping (better light output) or if there is a specific design of LED that will fit (aside from "bulb size")

cuz like half of my lights in the cluster is not working. n i figured if i was gonna replace bulbs, might as well get super good bright ones. (pref. red in color)

cool ill check'em out. also, if i remember correctly, some led's require some sort of "resistor" or power regulator or something like that. if i get those little bulbs will i need any of that stuff? cuz i read a couple, says plug n play, 12v stable/ready.

damn those bulbs are expensive. ebay u can get 10 for $5

Nah you shouldn't. All I did was plug and play. Same with a few I have in the garage just messing around.
