Hers my new daily... 2000 GMC Jimmy SLE 4WD Was supposed to just be a driver so I can focus more time on the mini,but.... When I bought it the heater didnt work all that great, so... I back flushed the heater core to unplug all the jelly dexcool bull sh!t outta there and replaced the thermostat. Which in turn caused the "notorious" leak of coolant from the intake manifold gasket just behind the A/C compressor... So the following weekend I spent all day Pulling the top end apart to replace the intake manifold gaskets... Then noticed the belt tensioner was dancing around too much and some belt squeaking when it was moist / cold... Only to find out that after I replaced the tensioner, the harmonic balancer was going out as well.... Ahhhhhh !!!! So I replaced the balancer today and she's purring like a kitten now... I gotta say I love this Jimmy but it was the worst buying experience I have ever had at first... It showed none of the symptoms when I test drove it at all. Didnt leak or anything. Along the road she got limo tint all around and the pioneer out of the minitruck as well as a junkyard tow package... Future plans are a mild soundsystem (speakers on the way) and thats it. Hopefully now I can focus my time / $$$ on the mini again and stop spending it on the Jimmy Lemme know what you guys think. P.S. Anyone have some stock S-10 / Blazer rims????
