you see that lifted ranger ?? well my neighbor decided to trash it and bought a newer one for 1,000 bucks and swapped all the parts... now it looks like this !!! it sits on 42s right now. hes putting it on 44s with a few more inches of lift... hes getting rid of the blocks and going all spring...




OH and for those who wanna know where I got those bucket seats, its out of that 86 ranger he trashed... so you can know how or where to get them...

Ah....going oldschool carb + turbo (draw thru). Very cool!!! Nice to see something different.

Warning..turbo toy trucks are very fun. I love driving mine even though she makes absolutely NO traction from 1st to 2nd. Even hard 2nd gear pulls while merging onto highways end up in wheel spin. The celica tranny I have in my truck really compliments the turbo motor. The gearing is longer.

I did have a 2jz, traded it for this engine... 300hp with no hassle of having it put in.. worth it to me...

Ill work on pics later... but ya someone told me a lot of dragsters do carb turbos because it atomized the fuel and makes ya go faster lol

ya he gave me a celica 5 speed with it and man does she pull.. I can break traction just about anywhere in 1st and 2nd, i havent tried 3rd yet since I already landed on the side of the road doing a 2nd gear pull lol... once i got from 9psi to 18 and get my valves adjusted it will pull 3 times as hard...

 

Damn...my stock ct20 turbo maxes out at 10 psi and I'm happy with the power. I can imagine how much fun 18 psi is.

What's your ignition setup? Right now I'm running fixed 10 degrees advanced.

 

ok so what celica trans are you guys running?

 

beats the hell outa me... just know that you need the tranny brackets off of an 88 or earlier 4 speed for it to work, or you gotta make new ones. and you gotta cut the floor 6 inches back on 89 and newer models.. if theres a way to check let me know and ill tell ya

 

or you can just swap your belhousing onto a w58 from any supra 82-98 NA
