I know its not a good mod but had to cause cant find the EFI problem.Simple to do didnt have to change the gas tank just unplugged the EFI pump connected a low pressure fuel pump.I used a stock ignitor and coil and carb distributor.Hookup was simple just the white wire to the switched + on the ignition side.I everything up on the intake side and used the LCE water block kit and EGR block plates.Im using the LCE carb adapter to mount my Puerto rican custom 32/36 carb.Starts up fine no leaks so far timing set at 12 degrees and made my throttle linkage and cable holder from the EFI throttle body and cable mounts[IMG]

    same set up

Why do you think this is not a good mod. I have the same set-up in my truck and i love it. I'm running an electric fuel pump.I recomend putting the filter on the carb to prevent **** from going in. I learned that the hard way. I hope to upgrade to a 4 barrel side draft soon.

Its not really a good mod for a 4x4 truck that while wheeling on the incline the EFI is hard to beat but going back to old school is so much easier for me.I own about 4 22re trucks and its mostly TPS and tuning issues.Good luck on your 4 barrel upgrade.

    Efi

Ok I see you're off roading. You're right efi is the way to go. I've been on a steep incline when the truck dies out and your rolling back in a panic trying to start it back up. That sh** sucks.

on a update Im now using the original EFI gas tank with the EFI pump hooked up switched and using a holley regulator with a fuel pressure gauge set at 2.5lbs so far running fine and did this cause none of the low pressure pump installed is unable to pump the fuel properly and I burned out 2 pumps since.
