actually i just got it running again yesterday.
1000 miles into the fresh engine. my buddy bent 1 4 intake because the head was bone stock with the 272.
so i just did all the head work and put new double chain kit on it.putting the new master and slave on tues then ill know.

The rocker adjuster screws? are they screwed in or out to nearly max on the threads? Normally a 272 cam poses no valvetrain problems, but regrinds:shrug:

theyre screwed in pretty far but still some threads sticking out past the nut.
the vavle adjust is 7 on the intake and 9 on the exhaust thats what we put all our high performace valves to.

probably just the fact that its a regrind, they grind the cam base circle down to gain lift on the lobe, which will effect the adjuster length.
