I like those Maxima wheels. Is there a safety concern when you run spacers? I was showing a coworker this site and he said that spacers aren't safe.. not sure if he knows what he is talking about or not (he is the office know it all). :)

Spacers are legit as long as you get the correct ones. I love know it all's, they make my day go by faster listening to there cool stories.

in the picture shown for mac's truck it was 225/40/18 front and 245/40/18 in the rear...... i think now he is running a 215? or 225/45 front and back..... i will have to check up on it.....

like he mentioned..... spacers are safe so long as they are torqued down to the correct spec and checked once in a blue moon. ive known many people to run them....... even myself. never had any issues and i would run them again if needed to.

it would be wise to get a wheel (if ordering a set) with the correct offset you want to run... but if there are wheels that you really want to run and need a spacer...... i would see no real issue with them at all. :waytogo:

I did spacers on the front only with 4x4 lug studs.

I am trying to find a cheap factory wheel to put on my truck.

I see where several of you guys have run these wheels and some like them with just a 1/4" spacer.

Since those are a high positive offset wheel, with this setup work on most high positive offset wheels?
