Forgot to update

During my Christmas break, I managed to clean up the engine bay some more. My wife and older son even pitched in and helped me put the bed back on. It's pretty much back in one piece (minus the hood). Still need to fully wire up the electric fan but at least I can drive it around the neightborhood! Here comes some pics

Update 1/15/11

So I finally got my sunroof in Yesterday off of Ebay. I got the idea off a tutorial in Minitruckinweb The article stated that they used a Webasto spoiler sunroof so that's what I got. The procedure was really easy. You just have to get over the fear of cutting a huge hole in your roof. Here's some pics

That looks awesome mac! I had the same idea, but It came from my wifes Grand Prix. It has a spoiler sunroof made by a Swedish company. Glad to see it done

garagedoorman: The suroof is made by Webasto. They also bought the company Hollandia. Not sure if its Swedish but I'm gonna guess its the same company.

Those are nice sunroofs. I still have that issue of mt. I always wanted a webasto but there expensive, came out clean on your truck. Good work dogg

Update

It's been awhile. Finally got my hood back. Had a steel cowl welded on. Test fitted then took it off to seal it up with primer just to get an idea of what it looks like and help protect it from rusted. There is no filler on this yet. I can now drive this thing in one piece now!

It needs a good shake down first. I've got a couple of loose ends to tie up before I rewire up the airbags. After that, we'll cruise. I've only been driving around temecula. Drives aren't long enough for the damn thing to even warm up.

Coming along really nice, Is that a grant bumper or homemade? I like the look. Also what are you going to do about filler panels for the headlights?

 

I think it is a grant if i remember right. Man that hood looks good.
