Ive had this for almost a year and only time I drove it was the day it was bought.. I drove it home and it spun a bearing on the way.. It sucked.. Anyways I tried offing it and never found the right buyer.. So its been sitting. I finally got off my ass an started getting a motor together.. I want it to be my daily so I'm trying to up the horsepower to be reliable.. I hope anyways..
So far this is where I'm at..

The block is a factory 1994 with -.030" milled off the top , bored +.020"..
Stock crank prepped ,polished and balanced along w/everything else..
The rods are some whatevers from Ebay..
    Street pistons w/rings from LC.
    LC'sStage 2 street cam w/adjustable cam gear.
LC's Dual row timing kit w/cover,22ret oil pump, 3 row underdrive crank pulley.
LC's Street head gasket w/ ARP head bolt set.
The Head is a new Pro TopLine casting fully assembled with O/S stainless valves etc, from Engine Builders .com Out of Portland, OR
and I think that about covers parts. Hopefully I'll have the long block finished by next week sometime..
I'll try to post some pics ...

Is that wagon yours too. Would love to see more photos of that ride. I think you have a nice list of parts for your build. Take your time and torque to spec and you should be good.

    Header

I bought a header off a friend of a friend pretty cheap.
It looks pretty solid and I don't see any clearance issues.
    Also looks Smog freindly..
Freind didn't know much about it .. Other than its for a 22r..
I was wondering if anyone knows what the tube in the
center thats connecting to the 3rd runner is for?

    Alittle off topic..
    I drive trucks for living.
I'd like to share this clip of a contest
my brother and I try to enter every year
at the local fair grounds and speedways..
I'm driving the truck that blows all the black smoke:waytogo:

    Long Block

    Here's my progress so far.
I was going install the valve cover
today...But I have to make a slight mod
to the splash gaurd inside.. The
clearance is for a single row set up.
Still haven't figured out what the tube in the
center of the haeder is for? Should I cap it ?

    Progress

Had some time the other day to work on the Runner.
I didn't think the inside of the intake manifold was going
to be as bad as it was.. :eyecrazy: I had to soaked it in a bucket
of diesel for a few days.
The injectors look ok ,But the little rubber caps on the spayer ends
are warn with holes.. I gotta make another trip to the dealership..
The cap and rotor from toyota was a burn..:brickknock: I don't think
I'll ever do that again.. I haven't made up my mind yet about weather to use
the 300cc injector set I got from LCE and take a hit on my fuel mileage
or spend more money I don't have to replace or recondition the stock 195cc's.
    Suggestions? Thanks.

    headers.

About that tube in the middle of your headers that's a heater line That can be eliminated.
