I picked this up around a month ago by pure luck. My buddy wanted something I had and he needed to get rid of this truck so we made a trade. I wasn't too keen on the trade idea but once I had it in my possession, I was glad I made the trade

As you can see, the truck is pretty much done. It has 18" rims, Alpine sounds, tinted windows and a nice stance. Aside from a small dent on the front right fender, the truck is solid. The original paint looks good from 20ft away or at night. Lots of scuffs and scratches. The bed is also pretty rough looking.

One thing I absolutely love about this truck is the extremely clean interior. Only blemish is a cigarette burn/hole on the drivers side seat. 175K miles, mint interior, a perfect dash and my favorite, Ice cold A/C.

Plans? Get rid of the Tuner 18's and put stock wheels and rear bumper back on and hope I dont have to raise the truck back up due to rubbing. Clean up the front end with replacement grill, corner lense and maybe get the dent fixed. I also want to get either a factory toyota bed liner or get a spray-on.... I really don't want to do too much because after browsing this forum, I have decided that I wasn't an earlier model. A Pre 83 will suffice but preferably something older.

As Im writing this, my buddy dropped off the rear bumper and stock 14" rims :headbang:

Stock wheels and rear bumpers back on. Unfortunately, its rubbing when I hit the smallest of dips. I can either raise it up maybe 1" for that Cali rake or add tubs. I think tubs would probably be overkill

I listed the 18's on Craigslist last week for $500 with no takers. Only calls I got wee from members/lurkers who got my cell phone # from my wheel post here.

Turns out, I used my old house number that is no longer in service. Once I added my cell phone # and relisted the wheels, my phone blew up with calls.

Once removed, found out that tires weren't all that great. 2 tires were dry damaged from sitting too long. I was still able to sell them for $400 with chrome lug nut/locks and wheel spacers

Unfortunately, I had to raise up the front 1" in order for it not to hit. I can now bust a bitch and no rubbing :waytogo:

I picked up a 4th wheel earlier this morning :headbang:

The guy I got the wheel from had a nice painted set of steelies with some newish 205/40's.
I may go back and get those to use on the truck instead of these. :doah:

my bro in-law has 17 inch steelies on his taco. looks pretty good with smaller sidewall tires on it.

full polished would look good. almost look like a set of 17 inch welds/summit/jegs lol.

We just come down from near bundaberg Queensland Australia to broken hill in new south wales for Christmas some 1, 200 miles in 19 hours, we have an 2008 corolla and as I drove through the night to avoid the heat and so our 11 month old slept the bulk of the trip.
Anyway near mid night there was a section of the highway that had suffered badly from road trains ( three trailer semi) leaving a large hole in the road about a foot deep that crossed the lane, as it was a 110 km 70 mile hour area two steel rims were buckled and three tires destroyed. the insurance company, the person that inspected the car as well as Toyota all said basically if we had low profile tires on alloy rims that there is a good possibility that if could have been fatal

Love the look of your truck.

Awfully close clearance on the rear tires. Hopefully mine clears better than that. What drop/tire combo?
