I'm getting the crazy idea that I want to run a sweet staggered setup on my 1991 2WD. Right now the truck is completely stock. I'm really wanting to run a 17x8 up front with a 17x10 in the back. Does anyone know what sort of size tire I can run with those size wheels? I don't plan on bagging but I do plan on dropping quite a few inches. My ideal width in the back would be a 275/35/17. Not sure what would work up front. Anyone with experience please chime in! Thanks!

I guess I should add that I'm looking to be flush with the fender and tucking a little bit of tire. I need to figure out the appropriate width and offset needed to achieve this

You'll have to measure to be sure. I run 18x9.5" in the rears and can't swear to what the offset is. The 265/35-18's fit fine with possible room for 275's, but there was already a bit of rubbing on the frame rails with the leaf spring's allowed movement in the corners. Also, the fender lips will have to be hammered or rolled out of the way.

But, the fitment is spot on.

You can see that laid out, the 265's push the fender out a bit. I've since moved to a stretched 235, which took care of that issue. Of course that won't be an issue for you.

Awesome thank you guys. I guess I need to figure out the right offset so I don't get that "mexiflush" look haha

Wow. Can you give me the specs on the 265 setup? What sort of drop and suspension is that and what offset are the wheels? That's exactly what I'm looking to achieve

    With fender flares, I'm pushing 18x10.5 295/30/18's
