How difficult is it to convert leaf spring suspension to coil springs?

    Im currently on 3" blocks. I was thinking of converting it into a coilover system.

    Is there a how-to?

    if im not mistaken it aint hard at all. on pirate4x4 i saw right up there somewhere. ill try looking and see if i can find it.

    yea i cant finds the darn link. but i saw it before. and if im not mistaken itsa the same way when you do a 4link but with shorter coil springs and a little different in lengths.

    it would be a really easy task if you have fab skills. you would just run a link setup and mount your coil overs where you want em.

    Yea, I was always curious if you could do that. I mean I guess it wouldn't be to bad, just run something like the 4Runners.

    The ones I love are the independent supra conversions. That work and setup is hella kewl, although to me it doesnt look to allow much articulation, but, with some carefull planning and measuring Im sure its not that hard and surely appears to be very functional.
