I saw a mention in another section and was curious if this has been done. This just seems like an easy 5 inches of drop or better.
Looking for a little information and not getting far here or in google.

Flip the overload leaf. Pull middle leaf.

Its the bottom one and the smallest. People have told me flipping it will get you lower. Everyone in hawaii does it religiliously

if you flip it and remove the middle, you will be around 3-4 lower....

That's with the main leaf flipped over upside down and the overload leaf placed on the "top" of the spring which would now be the bottom? I might have to try this for a while on the back of my truck. I am running stock leaves with the middle leaf removed. I didn't flip the overload leaf or the main leaf. I am surprised it even makes much difference to flip the overload. It seems like it is pretty much flat anyway... I am sick of the super raked look on my truck. Maybe this will help it sit a little more level til I get my bags installed.

Also about removing the middle leaf, it does make the rear end feel a little bit loose. I am still running stock shocks though. Some stiff lowering shocks would probably help a lot.

Middle leaf removal gives a 2" drop....

technically makes the rear end softer.

See flipping the entire stack was what I was thinking this entailed. Rather than just the overload.

Ive heard of someone heating up the spring so that it would do that and lower the truck. How safe it is i dunno. When i asked him about it, he told me, "ah young boy thats how we used to lower trucks back in the day"

Would look something like a W instead of the regular U
