New daily driver
so i sold my colorado and picked up a p.o.s daily driver,
its a 1979 base model 20r 4 speed i got it from a car dealer ship $650 out the door. lol it has rust in the fame and floors, interior is shot, some ghetto wiring that still didnt work lol, and some awesome flat black graphics. i checked all the fluids when i got home and it NO oil!! i drove it about 30 miles lol i plan on swapping the 20r out ill take it from my project truck, getting the body straight and painting it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() awesome wiring!!! ![]() ![]() cool oil cap iv never seen

Nice find. As much as I complain about my 79, I still love it. Since I started daily driving it a couple weeks ago, I have really bonded w/ my P.O.S. Even though the bit@h tried to kill me a couple times.
Your wiring looks like mine ![]() And your interior is in better shape than mine. Mine is on the garage floor. I am making a center council and new fiberglass dash pad. |

I was actually considering looking at that one today on my way home from work! Looks like you beat me to it! Did you take the buckets out and put a bench in; I seem to remember bucket seats in the pictures I saw of it...

yeah it had some crappy buckets, my legs where touching the the steering wheel! so i took them out.

im still build the other one i just needed a daily driver that i can put parts in and not care about scratches and what not.
as for the seats i dont think they are even toyota and they are really dirty but you can have them if you want them |

looks solid enough. perfect for a work truck. i have a plastic cap 20R valve cover ill trade you. ive been hunting for a metal cap one forever. lol.
