    Hey!

I still cannot get the 1974 SR5 to start.
The starter turns the engine, but no spark.
Probed the electrical, and zero current out of the coil.

Swapped the coil into my 73 Hilux.
The 73 Hilux started right up with the 74 coil.
So it's not a bad coil.

Can I swap out the entire coil system from the 74 SR5 to a later model?
( If so, what years? )

Going to the junk yard tomorrow to hunt for parts.
There was a 1976 Pick up two weeks ago that might have the system I need,

PS: The igniter is getting power.
Was going to replace this, but the local auto parts store said it was $350 for a replacement!

put in dizzy in motor correctally, hook coil to cap, hook pickup to coil, power the red wire on coil with any wire that has key and crank on power... done.
