Well i noticed the other day that the clutch MC is leaking a bit inside the cab. Already have the new MC on its way. Hoping to replace it this week

Just realized i havent updated this thread in a while. Swapped the Clutch MC and it fixed he problem.

I had made a stereo console thing a while back and This past weekend i finally got around to starting on a center console. Speakers are mounted and wired, stereo will sit in front of the shifter and it will all kind of tie in together.

    Right on, I dig it.

I need to get on it with my stereo, tired of the BT speaker i've been using, lol. I was planning to do exactly what you're doing, but since I've got a bench my speakers would be off the sides of the center console/head unit box.

I was considering doing that same all in one type but i didnt want the box to be too big and have me kicking it all the time. Plus id still have to build a console.

Im liking how its turning out so far though

Got some stuff done since the last post.

Got the top section of the console cut out, shifter hole cut and cupholders dropped in. Its mocked in place for now with a few drops of glue here and there.

Stere is wired and sounding pretty good. Glove box cubby is back in.

Oh and I ripped the headliner off, removed most of the foam remains and slapped a piece of sound deadener on it and i have to say it made a good difference.

    On to some pics.

Threw my old sarape/poncho thing ive had since i was a kid on there to cover up the speakers
    [IMG]

And i used some self tapping screws on the side of the glove box cubby to hold it in place

is that just MDF that you made the center console out of? are you coating it or using it as a mold of some sort?

So on sunday during my 60 mile round trip to the park my gas gauge took a dump. I think it was the shitty Thai sending unit that failed me again. Not sure when il drop the tank but its going to have to happen again.

Well ive had the tuck on jackstands all week, messed with the sending unit a bunch and ive gotten it to read within range but i hook it up to the gauge and when the sending unit is in the Full position the gauge only shows half, at Empty it shows empty. So its going back in tonight screw it.

Il be ordering an aftermarket sendig unit along with the quad gauge from Speedhut. Il find a way to make it all work with the tank

Sounds like it will be much better once you get through the headaches. I hate dealing with gas tanks....
