    IMG_0477.JPG IMG_0484.JPG hi all i posted before for ingitor, well that turned out bad . motor was bad #1 hole beyond spec. had to be sleeved, key way on crank broken , recon crank 20 under , new oil pump, bearings on accessory shaft. new 8 rc head, cam . now some good stuff

    a little more work done to day pistons in & torqued, oil pump in, rear main in , waiting on a gasket to do the front

    a little more work motor mounts same but different the pin location was different . could not find ones like the org. so made to fit. putting the front cover was easy after i removed one of the bolts for the upper chain tensioner slid right in place before that i was cussing like sailor .next lap the valves. so black or green pully.

    yes its a little odd. so a little more work done today. got the valves lapped. one valve installed . started to mount items to block off ports to keep dirt out.

    more lovin to the old girl, valve installed head painted installed ,cam installed timing chain in time , knocked the steering shafts out to get new ends .

    water pump on , bypass hose what fun, rocker shaft install , motor in have to remove a piolt bearing before i can put the tranny in. while i was there did some steering work

    steering and brake work. mew brake line to rear axel. wheel cylinder left rear, new pit-man arm, idler arm. inner and outer tire rod ends with new sleeves .

    I had to do all this same stuff on mine too, seems like it was all the factory parts on it.

    You should bro, you have plenty of work going in to it.

    got the pilot bearing out, took 2 hours what fun. got the flex plate in and torqued. tranny under truck , hope Sunday i will get it bolted in .

    got the tranny bolted up . cross member in tomorrow didnt have my camera so no picks

    no auto , the new crank had a pilot already installed

    getting closer to fire up. trany in and torqued need intake and ehaust inatalled goe starter in yesterday look at the damage still works.

    a little more work to day , intake / exhaust manifold on and torqued, thermo stat in, water temp sender in, carb on and tight, getting a little closer every day
