Been meaning to post my progress on my restoration of my Pickup My Pickup was kind of beat up when i got it. But nothing that some TLC couldn't fix.

 

So I started at the rear end and was gonna work my way to the front.

It slowly started to look better

 

Then my petrol pump gave out on my way home from school, so i had to replace.

 

My fall semester was almost done so I didn't do much to her for a bit until my starter stop working, causing me to have to push start her every morning for a week till I had some time to install a new one.

 

The once my fall semester ended I went ahead on got a new right side fender.

 

Also got new bumper ends, new valance, and a new bumper from rockauto.com.
Now she looking better.

 

Then my turn signal lights came in a few days later.

 

Wheels looking dirty.
so I cleaned them.

 

Keep up the work. It will get the way you want soon enough.

 

got more work done on the bed.

got more done today fixed up the dents on the driver side door. Also ordered a new stereo and a oem clock for the interior.

 

Here's a list of the areas that need to either be replaced or bondo fixed before painted: hood, right side fender, tail gate and top of cabin(roof). Trying to get these done before the April 28.

 

Also wanted to know what you guys think I should paint it or should I keep it blue.

 

Fixed up the tailgate today, looks alot better. Forgot to take picture of tailgate all primed up, ill do that tomorrow when its not dark outside.

but here we go. First image is of my tailgate that I said that I was gonna post a while ago. The other images are of the top half of the cab that i fixed up its not that best work but for being new to this type of work its not to bad.

 

Looks good to me! Wish I had those skills. That is the original blue, correct? I say keep it blue.

 

Ya thanks man. Its not that hard to do, it just the time need to do it( took me about 6 hours to get it like that). Yes this is the original blue. Probably gonna keep it blue after all.

 

So here we go again, its been a minute now but been a bit busy and lazy. Got the front left fender looking better on 4th of July morning.
Didn't come out as good as I wanted it but still looks good. Biggest thing that I didn't like was the primer (used primer from spray can instead of spray gun/ don't have air compressor at home)

Got most of the dents out of the hood and passenger door this past weekend.
