Thanks man! I did some cleaning today and noticed the door seals are probably shot and the passenger side window wouldnt crank up all the way so theres some rust on the floorboard form water seeping in.. *sigh* anyway I'm still excited to work on this thing and clean it up a bit.

    Okay thread de-railing over :p

Odd thing happened on my way in to work today. (76, 20r, weber carb, 4spd)
After the engine was warmed up it was running nice and smooth, just before shifting from 3rd to 4th at about 4000rpm the CHG light came on for just a second on the dash. I'll try to test it again on my way home and see if higher rpm's triggers it again.

    Has anyone else seen this?
I'll be searching the forums when I get home, just wanted to throw out an initial query. Cheers

I think the reason it came on is you're due for a 2JZ swap ;)

Maybe check the alternator belt tension? It might have slipped for a second and that would cause the light to trigger briefly.
