removing ecu

    OK so what does the ecu control other than the motor. since I don't have a 22re in the engine bay anymore. I'm wondering what basic things does it control. If I don't need it anymore I will remove it unless I need it for basic driving things

    90 standard cab 2wd short bed
    Ecu can be removed. Have you already removed the efi relay and the circuit opening relay? If not you can still use that to start the truck.
    Everything else likes headlights, wipers, etc run off the body ecu on drivers side kick panel.

    OK cool I'll have to check if I removed those yet I don't think I have but I'll double check. I just wasn't sure about the other functions but thanks for clearing that up for me
