Ok my 22r warms up real fast in my 93 pickup. I'm Running no thermostat I flushed raidiator twice. I could see the fluid circulating I know it's not the water pump.i haven't been into the head yet. Oil is not milky.

The Engine came out a wrecked truck.



It Has a weber 32/36 with exaust block off plate

It's setted up just like my 88 .and my 88 runs very cold even with ac on . Very accurate temp gauge.

I need some input. Hoping I don't have to go in head. Only truck running until I get windshield for my 88

 

Is the sensor and gauge working correctly?

is your fan not working?

 

What's "fast" for warm up?

The engine temp builds up fast within 8 min. Temp gauge in middle. And fluid gets very hot. .

Tried clutch fan.

 

Same set up and my red one runs very cool I could leave my hand on valve cover after a long ride very accurate gauge and temp
