Im building an 86 mustang with a built 302. Should have it started next week. We leave the other garage bay open for one day projects and setting up motors. We're also building a 79 Monte Carlo low rider, a 91 dodge Dakota drag truck with a cage and 440, and a few other hot rods. Plus my normal trucks, the 78 hilux and my 89 ramcharger. Good thing we have 5 acres lol. Ill post a few shop pics. I like this thread idea, lets keep it going.
Awesome man! I wish I would of kept my 79 yota! I thought of this thread when I put my truck in garage today! Hope it keeps goin!
What's the deets on that VW van? Looks pretty rad. I snagged the cool mirror mounts from a junkyard one so I can use bike mirrors a lil diff on a future project. I have a 68ish bug/squareback mirror on my 78 modified the stock mount to bolt onto that little triangle at the corner of the door/window area.
Not a really good picture but it's kinda a bar/hang out place have a pool table in their couches tv restroom etc...and 3 toyotas red 1 is bro in laws 99 4x4 Tacoma 6 inch lift.silver Tacoma is dads 08 stock.little 1 back their is mine hehehe lil thing
Vw bus The Vw bus is my wife's dream! We took 3 buses and made one good one. It's a 1963 double door! 51 mph topspeed down hill.
my front fenders are rolled and slightly massaged out for the 18x10's sticking out 1.25" with 275's. But if I threw totally untouched fenders on there with the flares, I think it'd be perfect. I have roughly 20mm of overhang in the rear. The fronts have a tad bit but that's okay with me, I don't want the tires to rub into it. Once I get better hardware and mount them tighter and higher, it should be right along with the factory opening.
Well mine arent behind the door lol but they are opposite of yours Lowtoy haha my bus is the slammed and toy is up in the air
Lol my wife wants her bus lowered a little bit! I'm going to flip the Spindles when I get a minute! Post some pics of your bus!
Mine was lowered when iI got it back in 98 with a straight axle swap and cut n turn beam. Still has the beam but now flipped spindles and notched offset spring plates from Aaron atvWide5.net
We spent the last 2 years going to vw shows! I wish I had a dollar for everytime I heard the name Aaron at wide five lol! He does great work and great craftsman ship!
Nice panel! Waht year? I see fried eggs and innie vents so at least a 64. Mine was built August 63 of the 64 model year. Aaron is a good guy and was pretty quick with my parts. This was before the Wide5 spindles and springplates, just a cut n turn and straight axle swap.
