Oil Light

    1992 Reg Cab
    My oil light is on, I checked my oil and it is good. What can be the reason why the oil light is on? Can you all help me please

    Turn it off asap!

    No oil pressure or sending unit is unplugged... Thats the light you never want to see lit!

    What oil, what filter, how many miles, driving style, last timing chain job?

    Hopefully pickup tube is in good shape and tensioner is good.
