Anybody have a starter problem that thy solved using a remote solenoid ?
Was told this would solve the problem I've been having where the starter will not engage one out of 10 or so times!
I've replace the starter a number of times, only to have it happen again! Was told it is a volage problem & that using a Ford solenoid or relay would solve it!!

I have never heard of that. If it clicks and will not engage, id say yes it is a voltage issue. But i would check your connection both at the battery, as well as at the Starter. Look and see if there green (corrosion) and pull on them and wiggle them to see if there loose. Thats where i would start!

not saying this is a problem, but if ur key switch is old this might be giving it bad connections..just a thought..

All wires are good, switch is good!
It is a voltage problem, as in not enough!
I haven't read the voltage @ the trigger wire @ the starter, but this problem seems common from what the owner of the company said. I've had this problem on & off over a long period of time,& have installed @ lest 3 starters over that time, along with changing the internal connect plates! Good for a while then happens again!

Wheres your battery located? if moved to the rear possibly battery cable to small or trigger wire to small causing too much resistance. Used to use the remote solenoids on the big block Chevys to cure the heat sink problems with the starters but haven't heard of it on the Toys, the later gear reduction starters are normally foolproof.
    Good luck.
