I think my horn is missing and have a replacement. I just nerd to know where I am looking for the wiring plug. Thanks in advance.
So not one of the 33 people that viewed this can tell me where it is supposed to be? I do not want to hack up the wiring at the column. Please let me know.
I thought i had replied on another thread i guess i didnt, anyway, ive seen the horn on some between the driver side headlight and radiator. Right behind the grille.
interesting. I had the grill off to paint it last year and looked for it around there (typical toyota location). I did not see it, but I will triple check that side of the car. Thanks!! if anyone else can take photo of its location and/or what the harness looks like (color, wires), I'd smile for a month. NYS safety inspection is needed.
Should be just a single wire to it. It grounds to itself. Il check the stock wiring on my column and il let you know what color it is from the wheel
Yep, just to the right of the passenger headlight. I doubt the plug got moved, unless someone has done a bunch of engine bay harness work. The bolt is hidden underneath the downward rolled edge of the upper core support, and goes through a nut spot welded on the radiator side of the core support sheetmetal. And don't get discouraged or upset when people look at your thread and don't comment. They may not know for sure and don't want to add to the confusion. It's better that way. Getting worked up about it also turns people off from actually giving you input.
I wasnt mad, just WTFed and wanted to bump it, heh. Thanks, going out there tomorrow to do more work on her.
