Hi all - bought this tonight... Salvage title, dents aplenty, rattlecan paint, but clean and complete otherwise, including working AC. Swapped on my existing c.70 vintage Shelby Minilite knockoffs (probably worth more than the truck) as soon as I got it home.

Plan is to lower it 3" F/R and use it for honeydoos (already imagining all the great free Craigslist stuff I can haul home) and getting my kids (9 and 11) and our mountainbikes to the park.

Have had 30-40 cars over my 23 year driving career, but this is only my second truck (first was a hotrodded Datsun) and very first Toyota of any sort.

Welcome. Looks like a great starter truck. Lot of knowledge and great people here. Looking forward to more photos.

Put it to stated use yesterday - threw my MTB in the back and took a 15 mile ride in the local park.

Then, since I was already pretty grubby, went ahead and lowered the front 4". BJ flip got me about 1/2", the rest is about 25 turns on the torsions.

3" rear blocks showed up as I quit for the day.

My wife thinks I'm insane. I think she's right.
