Speedometer problems

    So I have the 1992 toyota pickup 2wd 3.0 an speedo meter doesn't work what could be the reason

    Speedo cable probably went out. Connects to the back of the cluster and to the transmission. About $70-$80 at the dealership. Very common with these trucks. It could also be the gear
