First off the holes are already there on the inside so all You have to do is drill the holes on the outside. Just be very careful removing the black panel on the inside, they break easily, mine did. I used a unibit and started on the inside to get pilot holes, then I finished drilling on the outside to get the right diameter hole. The screws were supplied so I bought some washers. The only thing is factory mirrors will not work with this type of installation. They have a trianglar shape to them on the mounting piece. Thats why the doors that have sail panel mirrors have a bigger opening. These are the mirrors I bought: pass. side http://cpwstore.carpartswholesale.c...l_2-dot-4L/TY10R.html?location=Passenger_side driver side http://cpwstore.carpartswholesale.c..._Cyl_2-dot-4L/TY10L.html?location=Driver_side
thanks again on this one! so does the black interior trim piece clear the screws? and I know what you mean about it breaking..mine broke too! hahaha
I bought the factory ones and I had to cut the crap outta my truck to make it fit haha. and it seemed like no matter what I did to mount that mirror, when I took off that plastic piece, it still broke like yours haha. the mirrors are sweet though
LOL yeah I just did yesterday. ill post pics when I get home. They kept folding in on me when I got on the freeway. self activated for performance and down force lol. Ill keep them as a reminder.
