Scored a clean rear bumper off a 2nd gen 4runner Removed the tail lights and started cutting with the grinder Finally got the whole rear section cut off of the bed Made some bumper mounts out of some flat plate I had in the shop, and just welded it to the the stock bumper mounts Got the bumper mounted and it looks good just wondering what to do with the wheel well lining up any suggestions? I still have thesdge of the part I cut off I was thinking about maybe welding it back in infront of the bumper
looks great!! can you post up some pictures of how it mounts from underneath? as for the gap.. how about the mudflaps that are molded into some of the later 4runners? or maybe cutting the section that would fill that part in and flaring it out to meet it there?
Thanks for the input guys I was also wondering if maybe there were different length side pieces from different year 4runners
looks good...i like how its tucked up tight to the tailgate. can we see a full side shot of the truck?
Looks good...never seen u here in corona well I'm always working maybe that's why....keep up the good work see u in town sometime
Much love on the swap yo!! Looks bad ass!! You should make up a bunch or those brackets and sell them!!
Truck looks great, always wondered what that bumper would look like before modifying it. If it were a true fit, or would it take stretching or adding moldings to get the finishing fit. Anyway great job!!
