So the valance on a 2nd gen hilux is about 2" further from the ground than the rockers. And in my trucks case, that allows people to see my aluminum radiator below the core support. I would like to extend it down. I used to have an early 90s Rodeo valance i cut the top edge down on, and narrowed a bit. Also thought an 84-88 4wd valance might work. Anybody have some options or pictures or ideas? I'm not against visable hardware holding it to my valance, and I'm not against a slim line from narrowing the center section. The biggest thing is I want to keep my marker lights what and where they are. The lower opening can change. I will post a few idea pics I have.

And before it gets suggested, I don't want an 89-95 wrap around bumper. I tested them before and don't much like the look.

here is an an 89-95 2wd bumper setup. I think it was 2wd. would need to be narrowed for a hilux. just doesnt look right to me.

Thats an old part I made years ago. Was just showing the comparison. I ended up doing a lawn edging lip yesterday with stuff i found at home. Keeps me satisfied for now i think

I've been looking for a nice JDM style front valance / splitter. Something like this...

Old school set of fiberglass front and rear flares with blended front air dam for 72-78 Toyota pickups, gel coat fiberglass, fits stock body lines and contours of front valance. Bolts or rivets to sheet metal. Rear flares have molded on mud flap, could be cut off if not wanted and ground to desired shape.

I'm still rocking the same chunk of lawn edging. Same hardware. Pass corner screw ripped free but other than that its worked great. Bottoms out alot but flexes to not get damaged.

And I think it looks pretty awesome with my new truck gun :D
