do you have the 7.5 or the 8.0 rear end? do you want lower (as in lower gear for more power) or (lower gear for more top end)??

Turbo Toyota trucks (factory turbo) have lower gears because they had to compensate for less power. Well my Dad had a diesel turbo 4x4 and it had lower gearing.

MK3 supra has a optional 4.30 LSD 7.5 rear end that can be raided and put into your truck.

I reccomend that you have a 5 speed with that deep gear.

most 2wd 5 speeds ive seen have 4.10s in them. shonuff has 4.30s in his stock. any shorter than that and you need a 6 speed. my w55 in 5th (0.87:1) and 4.10 rears its still screaming if i go over 75.
