Just wanted to see what you guys thought I should go for. I want to put in a high output alternator but my problem is I don't know exactly how high I should go. I don't have air ride but I want to be prepared for when I do. Already have a sound system and I want to make sure it doesn't draw too much whenever I do bags. On top of if I have my headlights, brake lights, blinker, and windshield wipers running. Thanks in advance!

I was running a 130 amp unit. It died, and I swapped the factory 60 amp alt back in. No problems running everything. I also have a 9 plus year old Yellow Top Optima.

Or for a basically drop in 120 amp alternator that uses our same plugs do what I did. You will need a slightly longer belt but no new bracket. Read about it below.

I went with a polished billet 12SI 150 amp out put , 100 at idle.
From Quality Power, also as a plug from GM to Toyota .

Ok. Will it hurt anything having that much extra amperage when I'm not using it yet?

Awesome! I appreciate it! I think I'm going to do the swap mikerocosms suggested.
