Ok so I swapped the 1jz into my Toyota pickup truck and can't get the oem stock cluster oil pressure needle gauge to work on the truck... If I use the 1jz oil pressure sender on the block the needle just jumps all the way up and then returns all the way down, I'm assuming because the sender for the 1j is for a light on the dash not a gauge... So when I replace the 1j sender for the sender for the truck, needed a little coupling 1" long and bpt to npt fitting in one to screw into the block, the needle dose t move at all... Anyone with some insight?
I even replaced the truck oil pressure sender with a new unit and still nothing... I would really like to ge my stock cluster in fully functional order... Thanks!

Did you ever get it to work? I know you got some help on Myjzswap but wasnt sure if the problem was ever resolved.

I gots no truck, for now
hope you didnt wipeout that part of the cluster with the wrong sender....
have you tried grounding and applying power to the wire going from the sender with teh sender unplugged to make sure the needle moves
