hi, i have a 83 hilux rn41 that i bought for a cheap work traveller, its currently on duel fuel, but the petrol side of things doesnt run (guessing it needs a fuel pump), but i am considering rebuilding the 18r for straight gas, an a few mild mods, anyone got any pointers?

 

LPG to petrol right?

Honestly don't know much more than their are carb kits for one or the other, same goes with my tri-fuel generator, its Propane/Natural Gas(LPG)/petrol, but it won't start on anything but petrol. If you want to keep your dual fuel setup, you might want the ability to run the engine in such a 'one or the other' set up and keep thing seperated as much as you can.
